Summary
We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager. In this role, you will lead a team of sales professionals dedicated to building new customer relationships, enhancing product usage, managing accounts, and delivering excellent customer service. You will oversee the development of sales professionals, and growth objectives for your designated area. You will focus on increasing revenue by helping your team acquire new clients and expand services for existing customers while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

Primary Responsibilities
- Monitor and drive sales performance, ensuring team members meet required activity levels to achieve business goals.
- Spend substantial time in the field, coaching and training team members to enhance their sales effectiveness.
- Recruit, hire, and develop high-performing sales professionals who can meet or exceed sales targets.
- Support the growth and mentorship of team members, fostering a culture of development.
- Actively oversee weekly team activities, ensuring the effective use of CRM systems to track and improve sales performance.
- Identify and cultivate new client relationships, while maintaining and expanding existing accounts. Build strong relationships with key clients.
- Set clear performance goals for individuals and the team, aligning them with broader business objectives, and take action to address any performance gaps.
- Drive revenue growth and achieve annual sales targets within the assigned region or team.
Education, Skills, and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required - no exceptions.
- Client-facing experience selling multi-faceted SAAS products or technology-based software is required.
- Track record of successfully growing a sales territory through both new client acquisition and account expansion, consistently exceeding performance targets.
- Five or more years of experience in a sales management role; managing people. Ideally in data, analytics, financial services, or related fields.
- Proven experience in a fast-paced, consultative sales environment with a short sales cycle.
- Experience managing a portfolio with significant annual revenue.
- Five or more years of experience managing the recruitment, training, and development of a sales team.
- Ability to build long-term relationships and partnerships with clients at various levels.
- Strong internal and external relationship-building skills.
- History of job stability.
